actually that does not come stock 505..........the z06s with 505 hp are what 06 and up i think......i own an 02 and that has 405......and the 01's come with 385. this is not a newer vette so whoever said it has 400 hp is correct. So maybe you should check your facts before calling someone an asshole.

The motor was actually designed by Mercury/Marine and assembled by Lotus. Lotus CAN'T design a motor, they have to get than from Toyota.

First of all asshole you need to do your research, the Corvette in the video is a ZO6 which has 505hp NOT 400hp. Horsepower is not everything, you need to take in to consideration that the ZO6 weighs about 850lbs less than that piece of shit Lambo. Second, the ZO6 has a MUCH better power to weight ratio than the Lambo(6.2hp to 1 for the ZO6 to 7.5 to 1 for the over weight Lambo). AWD don't mean shit, the fastest lap times at the 'Ring are ALL made by cars with 2wd DICKHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

All I have to say about this video is sad. The Vette is as fast or faster than the Lambo which coinsidentily cost about 4 to 5 times as much. Lambo would need a LP640 to maybe beat a ZO6 which cost about 6 to 7 times the ZO6. Put the ZO6 on a track and watch it embarrass the Lambo. I would like to see Lambo produce a vehicle for 75k that could even keep up with the ZO6, hell, I would like to see than produce one that can keep up with a BASE Vette.

OK first of all this Lambo isnt an LP640. I should know. I just bought one. This Lambo is 2006. The most obvious difference is the exhaust. The exhaust with 2 pipes is the 2006 model or before.The Lambo that is the LP640 which came out in 2007 has a huge center exhaust pipe.Therefore if this Z06 were to race a Lambo LP640 it would lose. The nice thing about the Z06 is you can buy 5 of them for one Lambo LP640 which means you can have a different color one Monday through Friday.
