Hell yes for jeeps and all wheel drive. 2 wheel drive just can't pull it off with the wheel spin. But for an SUV to keep up with a viper, that kinda says a lot.

again... I must laugh.. this tank of an SUV can beat a sleepy driver... but in the end, he gets owned. a stock srt-8 does 13.4 in the quarter. NOT FAST. I'll give ya credit over other drivers because the jeep is easier to launch... but in the end.... it'll get owned by nearly every sports car out there. period.

its a clear win of jeep srt8.. i dont think srt8 is stock...and yeah its all wheel drive so it gives excellent grip where as viper has really bad grip which results in massive burnout and wheel spin at the acceleration where the srt8 jeep took advantage ;)

i used to have that car, i loved it, it has so much power with the hemi....i'm so sad it's gone

PLZ. The Jeep shares the same trans/gearbox as all other WK Jeep Grand Cherokees. ('05-current). However having a AWD system that can take ridiculous superman launches gives it an advantage.

hey lets set the record straight for both of you guys, I am not arguing and this isnt a competition, I am just going to state facts. Lambo = Big $ - Big Speed (accel/top end) Lancer = Small $ - good hadles - decent power overall, the lambo is a better car and much faster in a straight line but, for the money, the evo is very fast and actually hangs w/ depending on driver beats a lambo murcielago around a track. Many factors, if you had a choice tho, its obviousm which youd take.

The engine is the same, in terms of SRT8. Viper's SRT10 is a size bigger.

The Jeep takes up quicker than other SRT cars because its automatic gearbox has a different setup... so easy... The engine is same.
