from the look of how bad it got pulled, the Caddy would have beat it, and the SRT would have just walked it down. The neon and CTS would have been a better race.

rear drive is by far the fastest from a dig. alot of us give rolling starts for sake of the front drivers. makes it more car vs car instead of who has the most traction out of the hole :)

actually drag racing from a stop is american. and look at the fastest drag cars. every single one is a rear wheel drive. a street car will never match a purpose built drag car. the reason why we race from a roll is because we dont want to abuse our cars. we can run all day long from rolls. try racing your sti from a stop all day. that weak clutch of yours will be burnt before you can even call mommy and daddy to buy you a new one

It's either he can't drive or the STi isn't tuned well. It could be way too many variables. I've raced Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 SRT4's. I have a Stage 2 STi and I have beaten Stage 1 and Stage 2 SRT4's, but a Stage 3 is out of my league. My sti's turbo is too small to pull any harder in top end.

bro, the guy in the sti cant drive for shit, he's not even dumping it...look at his gear changes.. the proper drag race is off the start not this rolling start which was started in America in order to give a chance to their shit rear drive v8's...

I have a stock '05 CTS-V and WRX which is slower and built like a piece of crap compared with the V. I enjoy pulling up next to zit faced kids in their rice burners who underestimate the V - especially when they have their girlfiends with them.
