The European Type-R for 8th Gen are the most underpowered of the series. The JDM Type-Rs and JDM Type-RRs are much faster and better looking. They are the best-looking Inline 4 class vehicles IMO.

because it would take away sells from the Si & RSX but now that acura stopped with the RSX hopefully Honda will consider an type R civic version for the states the Si is crap compared to the Type R (JDM) the euro Civic R sucks

Dunno about anywhere else but in Australia the Type R reaches 148kW @ 7800rpm and 193Nm @ 5600rpm. To me that is just a good looking, underperforming, rev happy car. 5600rpm to achieve 193nm of torque? Please...

Wrong it has a K20Z4 engine with only 198bhp.

I know how you feel, the best thing to do is to do it up yourself or get it done up by a carshop. Seriously, this car owns anything I drive against in acceleration, but not in length.
