oh, i thought they put the 6.0 in it as well, could be wrong. my neighbor has a chevy pickup,99-02(?) style and he has at least a 6.0 in his but it is slow as hell, he floors it EVERY morning when he goes to work. he has a loud exhaust on it but its all sound and no go. i dont know if its a 1500 or a 2500 but its a 4x4, dont know about z71 either. but he plows with it and its a reg cab and 8ft bed. ill have to find out what it is

if its a actually a z71, the biggest they put in 1/2 tons is the 5.3. i have owned both, a 2003 2500hd with the 6.0 and now my 03 sierra with the 5.3, and the 5.3 seems to be a much better motor, way better gas mileage and faster!

uh he actually spins out at 0-20... an when u watch him pick up speed its from 20-100, my dad has a gmc sierra z71offroad, his is stalk , but it has a 5.5L engine in it. and it has some nice torque. an just so u kno.. .when it come to drag racing.. if u drag cars all the time., dont say shit about a truck cuz cars are completely dif from trucks

you let off at 50 cuz if u take off at 40-60 mph in second ger its slow
