Alright, i got you. You just made it sound like AWD made a car faster in a way other than offering a lot more traction. But, AWD had nothing to do w/ the race in the video. That is all i was trying to say.

Do you think the R35 GTR skyline would be as fast if they took away it's AWD system an made it RWD? It definetly wouldn't match the times it produces now which would make the car slower right?? I'm not talking about powerwise faster but if your drag race two exact same cars one with street tires an one with slicks which one you think will reach the 1/4 mile first, It's just a matter of how you take it, i meant the exact same thing you wrote but traction will definetly make your car faster

this WRX is a track car and was not built for drag racing. If you look at the full mods for this car you will see it has mostly suspension work, brakes, and even a fuel surge tank in the trunk for track. for being a track car it's pretty quick in a straight line though ;)

hell ya get some TTs. I was just saying that its easy to say give the stang AWD, but far harder to actually do it. At that point you might as well build a custom car from the ground up and just put a mustang body on it if thats what you want.

Being AWD does not make a car faster. It will make a car quicker from stop because it will offer more traction, but will not make a car faster in a race like the one in the video.

just sayin that AWD makes up for a lotta things an make pretty much anything fast, look at an SRT Grand cheeroke, that truck it's fast as fuck embarrases a lotta cars an all it's got is all AWD an a big ass v8, an weighs a ton imagine that in a car with AWD an then TT it up, but you right though if Ford did do that it wouldn't be a stang anynore, musta been drunk the night i made that comment, but for me an 03-04 Cobra all the way ditch the superchager an get me some TT's

wrx's arent drag cars, i cant stand when everyone builds them for speed. They are great at tracks and rally.

this is not the whole video, that wrx is built and the cobra is tt turbo, the camera is a 11 sec rx7, if u watch the whole video u will see the wrx only won 1 out of the 4 races they did.

can anybody help me?? where in the vid does it say TT cobra, Why can't i hear a turbo or even a whine, besides hearin the wrx thats not a cobra, I respect all cars i've seen honda's beat some stangs even seen a Neon walk over a vette but i never seen an sti, evo , or anything - 2 or 4 cylinders walk over a TT stang Or TT vette although there is always sombody faster, for the record whateva stang that was it still won, gimmi a twin turbo all wheel drive v8 stang, you'd need a plane to beat that

Well yeah i was exaggerating a little bit but if you do research you'll see that a tt cobra is going to put out ALOT more than 600 rwhp, closer to 850-1000. Hell a blower swap bolt on cobra will make more than 600. Like i said i'm not knockin wrx's because i do like them, i'm just being realistic. No way one will beat a tt cobra, especially from a roll.

hahah.. 100 psi are you high? suby's make crazy power in mid 20 psi. but it needs to be built. ive seen a TT cobra put down 600 some rwhp but a tt car is really hard to tune. a single turbo is just all around better power adder.

It would take at least 100 pounds of boost for a wrx to beat a twin turbo cobra, no way in hell that cobra was tt. Both very nice cars though and i am in no way knocking wrx's
