Come check out my website, we are local. We race at Edgewater, Tristate, and Kilcare. We have forums and many local guys selling parts for mustangs. I myself have a nitrous kit for sale on there if you are interested...
hey, your in ohio? what track you race at? i always race my stang out at edgewater.but im looking for some parts? you have anything that you would be interested in selling i cant really find parts for mine so i thought id give this a shot..
Like wyld said, you can either get another cheap car (escort ect..) for the long drives. But it for like $1000-1500 and sell it for the same, no final cost of purchase but better mpg. And nitrous is much better than supercharging. Of if you don't want nitrous, forgo supercharging in favor of turbocharging. It gains more power and would be better on gas than a supercharger.
that must be why some of the stuff in your video looked so fimilar. i lived around cincinatti for awhile
im tryin to go fast and keep my gas mileage, lol the only =way thats gonna happen is a supercharger or nitrous, haha but yea man im buyin a 4 banger tomorrow, lol its a 93 conv. to beat around in
Thanks.
Ok are you trying to go fast or save gas? Get a different 4 cylinder beater car to drive every day and get good gas mileage. If you worry about gas mileage in your stang, you won't go that fast lol the two don't go together.
Besides Nitrous is way better for gas mileage. You only use extra fuel when activating the nitrous. It costs the least for initial startup over the other power adders. A supercharged & hci combo will not get better mileage that a nitrous combo because you use it less.
yea of course nitrous is the best bang for ur buck, lol
but i want my car to still get the gas mileage it does now because i drive it alot, but i want more horses, a supercharger woud b nice but dont have the money now, u think it would still b driveable if i went with heads intake and a cam?
It will add a few hp to add the intake, but of course it would add way more power to do the cam and heads at the same time, and price of course. Nitrous is the best hp per dollar you can buy...
Cincinnati Ohio area, come check out our website and forums at wyldfantasiesdotcom!
cool superbeast
love the video
The price is difficult to nail down I had most of the stuff already. You will want a donor car for the small shit that adds up fast.
awesome vid man!
im new in the world of foxes, ive got a 89 5.0 with a couple goodies on it, but, im getting ready to purchase a edelbrock pro intake, and i was wondering if it would give me more power juss the intake, or along with it would i have to change the heads and the cam and all that stuff???
How much was the motor swap?
Where's ur street crew from?
man i got a 88 foxbody (hence the name) and i'm planning on cranking it out to that kind of level there. that stang there is friggin' sweet! i hope to have some vids of mine up when she gets completed
No unfortunately I have to finish my girlfreinds car first. The motor took a shit because she never would maintain it, but I have put a gt-40/cobra intake/f-cam combo in it.... Once its back together I will do a video document on the turbo build up of this car...
you try e85 yet??
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gear and exhaust will probably add the best bang for the buck. If you get serious and want to smoke GT's then add a nitrous kit. A turbo kit is difficult to install and expensive. Nitrous is cheap and easy and works very well. You motor will handle a goos amount of spray, at least a 100 shot.
a turbo
hey i have a 07 mustang with only the V6 in it and i want a little more than 200hp what could i do to my car to give it more bite with out putting a new engine in it and and stay on a decent budget?
Yes I plan to install a K-member at the same time as the turbo build. I hope the front wheels will come up after this round of mods... |
