look fucktard...the back is light and sheer grip keeps the front up...these cars are as light as possible to go as fast as possible...also this is a WHEEL STAND COMPETITION where is idiots terms (as you will hopefully understand) these cars take off the wheelie bars (that keep them from doing wheelies) and try to see who can do the longest/highest wheelies..

back in 07 i saw a vega flip all the way over at one of these wheel stand competitions (it was actually televised on the speed channel)

A wheel stand can actually be beneficial for drag racing, by loading the rear tires with the car's whole weight for maximum traction. Smart racers see it as a tunable characteristic of the chassis, but there is a limit after which it really does become a waste of energy. The way to tell the smart racers from the others is in how high the wheel stand is. The smart ones let the front wheels come only a couple of feet off the ground, and never lose sight of the end of the track.

If the engine were in the back, then they'd be able to wheelie all the way down the track and not just the first 60 feet. People did this for exhibition cars. See Hurst Hemi Under Glass, the Little Red Wagon, etc. You can keep your ass.
