that vette's exhuast is too loud to be turbo'd.. my father in laws vette would smoke it....

not all turbo cars have blow off valves. it could have a recirculating valve and if did you wouldn't hear the "pffft".

not all turbo cars have loud bov's. on a car that loud it wouldnt be very noticable and even less when your behind the car. my sti doesnt make much noise at all when im shifting in full boost pressure because i dont have an atmospheric blow off valve. its recirculating. this Vette could verry well be turbocharged. your post shows how much you know about cars. have a good day

I'm aware what that "pffft" sound is. Didn't sound like he floored it? Listen again, man. Right at the 1 minute mark he gasses it and then stops suddenly. Relax, I'm not disrespecting the car, it's awesome. I'm saying it doesn't sound like a turbo. It doesn't sound supercharged either, they usually make a distinct whine. It sounds like a hotter than stock cam and less restrictive exhaust. If I'm wrong he'll post a video of it running a 8 second 1/4 mile. Otherwise we're all just guessing.
