Great review. However my fírst Alternator was a beaten up Grimlock missing head and arms. Arms i got from spare wheeljack parts, and i made a custom head for him. I actually thought the transformation was pretty simple.

If you don't like a really, REALLY complicated transformation, you'll want Smokescreen instead of Wheeljack!

Do you think I should buy this or the Alternators Smokescreen?

The Animated line will come to the UK eventually, but I'm not planning on get any figures from it.

The Binaltech version is diecast, but the Alternators version is made is plastic. The Binaltech version is worth £39.99 but in Argos the Alternators version is now sold for less than £15.00.

It takes a lot of patience to transform this one! The blue paint is delicate! I hate it how the engine won't fit in the bay.

It's a chain store in the UK. I don't know if Hasbro are re launching Alternators. It seems they've got their heads round 'Animated', 'Classics 2.0' and the movie stuff at the moment.

i got 2 wheeljacks. the alternator and the binaltech. my binaltech is more difucult to transform for some reason.

i found 1 with no bids well, i think i saw 2 with none. so if u want him there should be 1 open.
