the full version is not free. The files are so large because its raw AVI. Once you record you need to use video editing software to make the files smaller or put into different format

Hah fanboy :D GT4 is great but it's only on one platform so it kills itself = fail. And believe me the graphics of this aren't poor. Just get a proper computer. (This isn't settings maxed out I think)
