No, not really. Actually I am a college student who has taken a few graphics design classes in the past and on the side I have my Pilots License... So I understand both the physics of this issue, and the time and effort it would take to code it properly and render it in such a way that would make all the gamers out there happy and satisfied. But, as it has been previously mentioned, the developers had their reasons for saving a bit of time on nonessential parts of this game.
