dont know if i could handle i busa i'm currently buying a honda nsr 125 100mph top speed but this busa could easily do 100 in second gear nice bike might buy one one day

who said blackbird? that bike came out in 97 and was king of the road you cant compare the busa to an old bike.any way the bird was ahead of its time

good race... everybody has their preference on what bike is better, but it all depends on the rider. that was a great race.

very nice race.i have the zx12-r with 218 hp.last week my bike was third in greece in national drug race championship.and i have it for sircuit not for drug race.1st gear goes up to 190 km/h.but....no matter what busa is the king of the highways,not so in the corners but if you can handle it driving a busa is magic.(sorry for my bad english)

They just released a new version of the Hayabusa with 45cc greater displacement and an astonishing 194 horsepower.

ok smart ass no one wanted your input. we all knew that allready but that 340 is factory tuned(not run in yet) so you do have to do some tuneing for that

it was also named that coz the falcon eats black birds. as the bussa preceeded the honda blackbird as being the fastest production bike. it was one finger up to honda.

the Japanese Hayabusa (peragrine Falcans) also hunts down and kills Blackbirds as a foodsource, the fast production bike at the time of the busas launch, thats the little gimic i love the most :)

The busa was named "Hayabusa" which is japanese for Perigrine Falcon, because the falcon can reach speeds of 340 km/h during a dive.. also the speed of the motorcycle.

yer until hayabusas came out... they were named after the perigrine falcon because a blackbird is part of their diets... little bit of subtle competetion between the 2 i think
