Open the downpipe and it sounds so much better
i drive an E36 m3 and your srt is a good competition all the time on the streets. its just me personally cant stand that car. other than taht there is nothing better for that price
Thats One Fast Peace Of shit
yes putting a catless downpipe on your car would set off the engine light but if you know that the down pipe is whats making it come on it should no be a problem
aight bro ...i go to srtforums also, wats ur name on there?
lol your url doesn't work, is there like a keyword that I can type in?
ig you have a catless downpipe would the engine light go off? because im thinking of getting a catless dp
To be on the safe side I would just upgrade to a stage 2 kit, then tune from there. With that kit there is more than enough fuel/timing for this turbo. Good luck on hitting the 300whp club, it took me awhile:)
True about running rich for safety, and it sounds you know what your doing with your setup. However as I said above the stock 2bar sensors can only go so far. Getting a mapclamp and then overpowering the ecm with your fuel management then maybe you can get peak performance out of the turbo.
I understood that you had the fuel mod from PTP, didnt say you had walbro pump. Do you plan on getting the stage 2 kit, or just injectors? I say this because replacing the stock 2bar sensors with the 3bar is needed to get the most out of that turbo.(stage 2 ecm needed with those sensors)
Remember that to get the best performance you want to run as lean as possible without causing engine damage. In the Srt-4 that is like an 11.7-12.4 A/F ratio. I am just trying to help so dont take this comment the wrong way, I have an SRT-4 and just have seen a lot of people make the wrong choices when trying to make there car faster. Any questions let me know.
Nice, but why did you raise the fuel pressure??? The car stock only has 2.0 bar sensors and that means that there is plenty of fuel already to max those out. From my experience the higher pressure or the people running walbro 255 pumps on a non upgraded turbo are not having that great of results. Infact tuning the car is even harder because of all the extra fuel. |
