Def a nice car but to START out at 63-63K...NO WAY. Audi S5 is a def better buy. For 58K you can get a fully loaded S5 which IMO looks better def in the inside and bout same IMO on outside. Yea on the racetrack the M3 is faster prob little better handling but REAL LIFE driving (in the city where I am) is not a racetrack. The S5 for me is easier on wallet and average person wont even know the difference

The 2008 M3 is to start around $63K - $64K USD, compared to the M6 that startes at $99,300. The M3 has slightly better cornering performance, although the M6 has much more torque helping it accelerate much quicker. So in the end... ...which is better? It's quite subjective. In reality 99% of the drivers out there will never take either car to their limits, so to me the M3 is a better buy for the buck.

the M3 is probably the most practical being that it comes in cabriolet, coupe and sedan- which is soon to come. but you know its just an opinion thing like i love all M models but the M6 has to be the favorite.

I beg to differ. Nothing against the M5 and M6, but in addition to their extra horsepower, they also carry extra weight, which translates to less precise handling. If I need room for a car seat, then yeah, I'll go with the M5... but if you're talking about pure driveability, I'll take the M3 over of M5 or M6 any day.
