Well the thing is if you put something (such as, say, your finger) behind his head on the see-through plastic it dims but lights up again when removed. Maybe the TFShorts put something behind the head and took it off again to create that effect.

I've bought a few movie deluxes myself recently. Got Jazz on a whim in Sainsburys. Didn't think much of him when i saw him online but i was pleasantly surprised, he's actually pretty cool even with the silly arms. I found that despite what other reviews have said regarding his arms, (here on youtube) the front and back panels do actually lock together.

At the moment, I'm only buying the deluxe figures, but I may get the bigger ones if my shelves can take the space... :)

I have Silverstreak and i found him quite easy to change from car to robot compared to Shockwave. I've only transformed Shockwave once, into robot mode when i first got him and had real difficulty. Both arms kept falling off at the slightest touch and getting his head through the bonnet was a nightmare. The bonnet came off too. You seem to have a real knack for it, you really do make it look very easy. Do you have any plans to purchase/review movie Leader Class Prime?

Well, it's not necesarily hard, but frustrating because of the number of parts likely to pop off. In concept the level of conversion should rate a 6, like the Subaru mold. Since I don't have Jazz I can't make proper comparisons either...

Cheers for that. Very helpful, if i ever get up the courage to attempt transforming mine back again that'll be very useful. It's giving me a headache just thinking aobut it but you make it look so easy! How do you do that? Hard as shockwave is though i imagine he's simplicity itself compared to trying to get wheeljack or grimlock back into robot mode.
