Obviously you don't know and don't own an Evo or even a 335. Go do a bit more research before saying things like that.

All you gotta do is chip a 335 and Evo's will never come near it. Unless you put down $10k on the Evo. And you still get burned at high speed. Evo's are nice but they not on par yet.

first off i have an evo8 and all i have in it is an intake and exhaust and i crunch those stupid 335i's all the time and second, yes the evo will launch great from a stand still but u will break the diff really fast, its better on ur diff if ur rolling

And on another note of course the evo would win modded up, there are so many parts for them and the Beamer is pretty new and is a beamer so the aftermarket isn't all over it like they are with tuners. Man, there are tuners out there trying to get as much power as they can from every car out there so they can say they have the "world's fastest so and so" and build up their reps.... Inlcuding the 335i. Worlds fastest Evos run LOW 8s. Worlds fastest 335i's run high 11s...right?

buddy, any car or truck can do an 8 second run if u put enough shit into it....so u cant say that the 335 cant do it, nobody has wanted to do it cause its already fast enough right out of the box

I can answer this for you. AWD cars launch better from a stop because they have more traction. It's alot harder to break traction with your tires when your transmission is powering all 4 wheels. 2 wheel drive cars will easily spin out from a stop because all the power is going to only 2 wheels. I hope that answers your question.

Let me ask you guys something, someone mentioned earlier that the 335xi will have a better pull off, why is that, because it's AWD. I didn't think that AWD drive cars would have a better pull off than either RWD or FWD cars. Can someone clear this up for me?

The 8 second evos do not break down after each run so you clearly don't know about Evos, and anyways, there are alot of more Evo's in the 9, 10, and 11 second range that 335i's still can't touch. I don't see any 335i's even running 11s. if the BMW is so refined then why does it come with cheap tires? BMWs get over yourselves, you still look good when you roll up to a valet. But leave the performance to the cars that are made for it.

It's a tuned and modded Evo 7 not an 8 (+350whp). Besides a 335i is WAY heavier (3700 lbs) and only puts 300 hp to the crank so no matter how long the race is, that Bimmer ain't catchin up. Better race would be that Evo vs an E46 M3. N/A and more powerful than the tiny turbos on the 335.
