To be honest corestore, it depends how you set the F1 car up. BAR Honda set one up that managed 257 mph on a one way run at Bonneville Flats.

Well that is one of the worst cornering bikes out there. I have heard that cars out corner bikes and I drove them both for years but for some reason, it seems that the bike has the advantage as it can literally straight line the road and the road is much wider for a bike than a car. A car has to go round the bends where the bike makes each bend straighter. I believe that really tight corners are the area's where the bike has weakness. With a bike it's better to ride safe but they are more fun.

Choice is dreaming again.... we have established that F1 cars CAN go FASTER than a Veyron, they can out accelerate a Veyron, they can outbrake a Veyron, they can corner faster than a Veyron, and he is still arguing that a Veyron is faster.... just give up on him he is clearly ill.

it's the regulations. f1 cars used to have turbos back in the 80's, but if they had them today, the engines would probably be pushing 2000 bhp, then the tires wouldnt be able to cope with the power, and the whole sport would just be too dangerous (as if it wasnt dangerous enough already). but on the subject of this video u have to admit, bikes r just more fun :D

They would kill a Veyron.... btw interestingly enough the 2005 3 litre V10 cars averaged around 960hp wheras the 2.4 litre V8 engined cars develop around 780hp.... although the Veyron is no slouch the F1 car stats are just staggering and in a different league entirely

think i perspective??? hahaha, do u realise what an investment a veyron is? it costs about a million now, think of how much it will cost in 10-15 years, or when it becomes a classic. btw, f1 cars need to be set up for straight line speed (aerodynamics, etc.), i'm sure they'd kill a veyron. they pump out around 800bhp, only 200 less than the veyron, but r at the same time much lighter.

The 2006 Renault R26 went 0-300 km/h (186 mph): 8.6 s and also went 0-100-0 in 4.96 s a Veyron is nowhere near that. 6g turning has been recorded at Suzuka and at Monza cars were reaching 225 mph on the straight! You lose!

Bikes are much better than cars. They´ve got a much better acceleration, and they´re lighter. A good Sportsbike is better than any street-car.
