You should have played the Most Wanted and Carbon. You'd see it makes more sense like that.

Correction : Darius gave him the car to get out of the city JUST so it would look like HE took off with the cash, while the cash from that race was stolen by Darius himself. On the other side - how do you know that the story continues in "Undercover"? (although remembering Mia was undercover in MW, they could tie it all up somehow)

Darius gave the guy the supra to get the hell out of the city cuz he had problems with all the crews. The guy escaped and during his escape he started street racing with the supra got some cash and bought the BMW M3 GTR then drove to rockport city from there he had to escape the cops and drove back to palmont city. His story continues in NFS UNDERCOVER

The Intro has some problems, 1st the Car you drive should have been the BMW not the Toyota Supra and its improbable that they added it by mistake. I wonder Why ?

This is the intro... i was playing career. You have a toyota at the starting of into then when ur going down u get a BMW. Wierd!

That's in Most Wanted. In Carbon you'r BMW gets wrecked.

People liked most wanted better because-1.You get the BMW//M3 GTR at the end.2.The story is much longer.3.A better Ending4.The cops are tougher.Dont get me wrong I love Cerbon and Most Wanted i think there both great NFS games.

You now im not sure if it is me but the song i only heard in in game was at the EndBoss were i was racing with the three previous bosses, only there i have heard this song.
