I didn't say i won the race against the 2000 maxima . I said i lost . I was driving a 2008 sentra with cvt . And the little bugger sounded like it was gonna blow up .

well yes it has "gears" on the shifter however that is just made for you to get the feel of a manual or also when you need something to stay on one ratio without shifting. As i said a cvt does not have gears. You can set the setting so they feel like gears but again thats for the hype or for certain needs. from memory the maxima was 280 hp and the sentra is 160? 180? .... lol

I kind of disagree with this . I drove a 2000 nissan sentra with cvt. It had gear selections on the shifter. You could also go from gear to gear. The thing that's wierd is when you floor it while in "D" drive. 40mph floor it , it seems to drop down to lower gear then revs and hits redline and continues to sound that way @ really high rpms without shifting. I raced my friends 2000 maxima (i lost of course), and while racing i thought the little sentra motor sounded like it was gonna blow up.

that was a Supercharged SRT10 on stock tires, and like all Dodge Automatics they set at the line while imports go down the track.

No way that was a srt-10. He must've just sat at the line for a couple seconds while you went down the track.

hehe, like your truck before the blower lol. Most start out slow, it is what you do to them after you buy :D. Don't hate on the nissan just becuase.

but the thing is he ran a 9.5 in the 1/8th? lol. that is super slow. its like my moms jeep in the 1/8 damn you are slow.

I agree about the trac issue. Don't get me wrong ,...I'm a NISAN fanatic through and through.. Check out my vids.. But it looks like your 1/8 time was @ 9.5-10sec which is about 1.5-2sec slower than the srt10. he must have had terrible trac issues or not known how to drive one. They are tricky.. but a kill is a kill and congrats on the srt10 victory.. Go NISSAN!!!!!!!

This was a supercharged SRT10 and he had around 700hp, the srt10 never hooked up, the AWD murano left it in the 1/8th, im sure he would have caught me in the 1/4. Thou still embarising for the Overpriced Overpowered DODGE

SRT 10's aren't normally supercharged(as that one didn't sound either).. That's an aftermarket add on. A supercharger will put the truck closer to 700HP!!

u mean it has "infinite" amount of ratios? ;) since its pulleys and a metal "belt" that change ratios....but u know wut yur sayin, just thought ide add.

well that depends on how you drive it. If you drive it nicely it will stay in very low rpm and get good mpg, if you drive it like you stole it it will sound like in the video at peak rpm :D

Holy Crap! Intake or no Intake, how the hell did that happen? I wasn't aware of any aftermarket products for the murano. Good Job, though.
