No, it's not. It's a pointless and meaningless "stat" that no one gives a shit about, but the good liberals at PBS probably thought it'd be a good idea to start including it on this show. But go ahead and keep blaming America for all the world's problems. Fact is that our cars are the cleanest in the world. Move to China or Russia and see for yourself.
Considering how shitty we are to the world in terms of the cars we drive, it's somewhat important to know.
that damn thing is the only thing on my car that i hate...and yes it did break.
True that dudee. but i still love the show
And WTF is this "Energy Impact Score" and barrels of oil per year they always talk about?? First off, no one gives a shit and second, MW are the only car testers that quote this "stat."
I agree - I've been watching Motorweek for almost twenty years. They ALWAYS has lower 0-60 and quarter times than the car mags (esp C&D) and other sources. Weak.
Man, Motorweek drivers are amateurs compared to edmunds and Car and Driver. they posted number of the coupe to be 4.8 to 60. damn...
supra isnt mass produced. and it hasnt won awarrds for 17 years in a row
yah, he said the 328i is 320HP... um, don't think so!
Speaking of 320hp.........The Supra Twin Turbo is also a 3.0L inline-six twin turbo which gives out 320hp and 315lbft. Thats 20 more than the 335i in hp.
Supras are the greatest!!
COOL
he didn't mean to say 320hp. anyone with half a brain knows he meant 220hp. duuuuuuh. still a BIG mistake though haha
and 230 horses ain't much...
328i latest model is only on sale in US
330i is 3.0 with 258hp
328 is 3.0 with 230hp
Apparently im dsv17 as well cos that was my comment, so i did correct myself
I stand corrected, the 330i in europe is badged 328i in USA, but is actually the 3 litre straigh six but only produces 230 hp maybe detuned version of 330i
We get two 3-series cabrio verisons in the U.S., both powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six connected to either a six-speed manual or automatic: the 328i and twin-turbo 335i with 230 and 300 horsepower, respectively. In Europe, it's available as a 330d diesel, 335i twin-turbo inline six, 330i and 325i naturally-aspirated inline sixes, or 320i inline-four.
With prices for the coupes on our shores beginning at $36,000, don't expect to find a 3-series cabrio for much less than $40,000.
2008 BMW 335i and 328i Cabriolet - Car News
I'm pretty sure you're a dumbass....
im pretty sure that is incorrect, BMW dont make a 328i for this generation 3 series, and if they did it would not have 320 bhp, the 335i is the flagship petrol 3 series, not counting the M3 of course
im pretty sure that is incorrect, they dont make a 328i for this generation of the s series
looks unexciting
I treid one out and the leather/wood interior is marvelous darling
in the last seconds here, he says the 328i has 320 bhp!
Also we tested the coupe and got 4.8 seconds to 62mph. This is seriously an amazing car. Its the best car in its class, cause its that good.
I love this car~ |
