Yes the Apollo has a higher top speed but FXX drivers don't care because on a track you don't reach the speeds of 210+ mph. They are two very different cars: the FXX is a track only car and a PROGRAM while the Apollo is for the road. race car vs road car. the FXX is an ongoing project that's produced the FXX Evolucione with 800 bhp from its NA V12 engine.

Mercedes know how to make cars do anything they want (within reason, and so do bmw, audi,....). Their Competition record is insane considering the time they spend in each race category. The CLKGTR was designed and built in 128 days, and it was so good it closed down an entire race series, It lapped Mclaren F1s in LeMans. Mercedes have their virtues like every manufacturer.

Yeah you see that's the thing, the Gumpert is shit ugly because that's not truly what matters when creating the greatest car. I think it looks badass, however I can also see why some think it's ugly. I just think the FXX is an uglier Enzo.

But you cant say its better then the FXX becouse there is no comparison review, no magazine has tested the FXX (i get most of the magazines so i know). But telling from the looks of how serious that car is, id say its faster.

It's 3X the price for what? Not a whole carbon fiber body like the Gumpert? For worse chassis, drivetrain, suspension and engine? The engine on the FXX is much bigger for an extra 1 horsepower? That doesn't seem to matter much though, seeing how the FXX is engineered not nearly as well as the Gumpert seeing how the Gumpert is faster with a much smaller engine. It's much uglier, and it's also 3X the price. On top of that, it's not street legal. The mileage is much worse, and the pickup is worse too. If you were to put a 6.1 litre engine in the gumpert as in the FXX, it would be much, much faster, even though it already is faster, yes even on the track, and it accelerates faster. So it actually has less potential seeing how the engine is already gigantic compared to the Gumpert's

Are you kidding me? The quality on the Gumpert is unbelievable. It's as hand made and custom fit to the owner as it gets, making only 10 cars per year. And who gives a shit about history, we're talking about what car is the best NOW so that's not a good argument. And there is no way the FXX handles better, as proved earlier with the downforce.

The FXX has slower acceleration and a lower top speed than the Gumpert and the Ascari, and their engines are smaller. That's not quality in my opinion

So that just means the Gumpert's engine is constructed much more efficiently (duh, it's an Audi engine) and that the Ferrari's engine is trash. Either that, or the Gumpert's design is engineered much better. And you really can't say the FXX looks better when it is only a track car. Come on, it's not made for looks. The gumpert has six speed sequential gearbox with F1 influences. Also, the Ascari accelerates faster than both, but all in all out of the three, the FXX actually is the slowest

Okay, the Gumpert handles the best, hands down. Hence why it has the best time on the Top Gear track. The Gumpert has enough downforce that technically speaking, it is able to drive on the ceiling of a tunnel (upside down) which the FXX Most definitely cannot do. Second, the FXX is twice the price and isn't street legal. Third, the Gumpert has faster acceleration and a higher top speed. The FXX has simply 1 horsepower more out of an engine almost twice the size.

ok lets start off with handling, the FXX has F1 diffs, it handles better, looks are opinion, in my opinion the Ferrari looks better, the Ferrari has ALOT more power so better acceleration and Ferrari quality is unmatchable.

no, the mc12 has the same engine as the enzo(which the FXX is built on) but body and everything are different. FXX is probably the fastest two seater.
