Thats right. The CSL is the light weight version so it has a cardbaord floor in the trunk and a thin plastic rear window, no AC and a 6spd manual only. It also comes with racing slicks stock.

YES YOU CAN! The CSL does not come in the SMG tranny. Only a six speed manual. This car has a gear indicator light which is only for the SMG so you know which gear you are in.

M3s have cross drilled rotors too (EUR versions) but CSLs' front discs are bigger (345mm instead of 325mm). The trunk lid is made of fiberglass plastic not carbon. Otherwise you're right! :)

No no I know all that, But in the W126 Mercedes, They made things like the 560SEC and the 560SEC 6.0, one just to give a little more sporty feel got a 300kmh speedo while the other a 260kmh...I guess its just me then:P

i think the gearing doesnt go that high anyway. besides the body looks plenty different... - carbon fiber roof - carbon fiber hood/trunk i think, but painted (integrated lip spoiler on trunk) - more aerodynamic front bumper with CF splitters - no fog lights, hole for improve intake - CSL lightweight wheels - perforated brake discs - csl badges...? :P - different diffuser - different sound

you can't, although it sounds like a csl airbox. possibly a regular m3 with a csl replica intake though.
