all i gottah say is damn!!! that got some jump

nice

sounds like a frickin lion on the launch

no wonder there's a gas crisis!

it may be a truck for God sakes but it weighs about as much as some cars 3800lbs thats pretty light plus 4WD plus ESP plus anti roll bars trust it can turn i own 2 an 08 with 745hp so yeah the best truck ever

HAHA i would have laffed so hard if he hit a deer lmfao

if its fun then do it, im putting a 500ci 6 pack motor in my 83 d150 ram lwb i dont care if it handles or not, when im at the strip kicking arse

nice one... check my videos to see the SRT 600 jeep turbo system 620 hp...

Hennessey did mine April-June 2006. It took a couple months, but I was out of the country and it didn't matter to me. Dont know their status now. Call John Hennessey to find out. He's a good guy and knows what he's doing. I've had several tuner hotrod cars. All of them took longer and more money than I planned. This car was the best of 4, though.

Great Jeep! I just purchased a Grand Cherokee SRT-8 in October and love it! When Hennessey did yours how long did it take, and is there a waiting list?

but regardless amazing jeep

and again i say, American.. no handle... Jeep.. Heavy, AWD and Stability will not help u in a adrupt turn.... its a fuckin truck for god sakes

A Hennessey tuned SRT8 with 620 horsepower...in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Maybe its because i had my own 93 Grand Cherokee and i loved it, but i think this thing kicks total ass. Not to mention the Hennessey tuned version can outrun a Corvette of Porsche 911 to 60 mph and a Gallardo through the quarter mile.

Why make an American Jeep so fast? Fun! "Suicidal", you say? What makes you say that? Crash safety? Stability? Handling? I outran a Porsche Boxter S at Robeling Rd in this car. Not by much, mind you. But outran, nonetheless. And this car handles on wet pavement. BTW, my other car is a 911 turbo - the third of those cars I've had. I know whereof I speak. This heavy fast SUV is every bit as valid as a light fast two-seater. And it'll carry 5 Americans and their luggage, to boot

why make a american jeep so fast? suicidal...

i feel ya

but still GRAND CHEROKEE SRT8 is a longer wheelbase then a regular suv and slammed more in the front end.. thats why i was impressed on the lift

well, it is an SUV (taller vehicles will tend to do that.) it's still pretty impressive.

hollly fuck that front end lifted like a fuckin power boat hahahah

I have nothing to prove to you... go to school or ride in some cars with high stall speed converters. I've done both. After the stall speed (rpm wise)all converters are the same... a certain amount of slippage and no effect on shifting (unless you are at part throttle. valve body and ecu def have a part in shifting. duh I'm talking spacificly about converter and the sound of newer rides shifting.

just so no one is confused the srt6 is just in the crossfire, the srt8 can be a model of the 300 (chrysler) Charger(Dodge) and the Grand CHerokee (Jeep)

to neone who thinks the srt6 is a 4.0litre should just shoot themselves now; its a 3.2 litre mercedes supercharged engine, and ztwntyn8 is completly correct about the shifting, chealsea can suck the cock I work at a dodge jeep dealership, we get mastertechs every month that tell us all about new mechanical features in cars

ummm no, the 4.0 shares the basic block with the 4.2, 4.0, and 4.0 HO (althought they strengthened it at one point) and isn't this one and only SRT6 you elude to.. in fact the 4.0 is no longer made. In fact you will also find there are SRT 4's 8's and 10's. Although I never out rite confirmed this next statement, The number seems to directly correspond to the number of cylinders the engine has. That said i like the 4.0 very much and plan on building a stroker out of one for my '87 Cherokee =0)

Best car ever!!!!!

haha ok the jeep deffiently has a 6.1L SRT not STR 8 motor not the hemi thats in the regular grad cherokee..
