Yeh your absolutely right, I was just blinded by the fact on getting this car for me to borrow on the weekends would be the greatest as I'm still in my P's. for yr dad, no, this type-r is aimed mainly for younger market, well really for young drivers or mid-age young drivers. if your dad owns that car it would look too fancy and silly for him and this new type-r suits much betta for you. im 19 aswell i would love own one. anyways...For a 56 year old should really own a 4x4(SUV) or a luxury car.

As a hardcore 2004 type R fan & owner I was skeptical about the 07 model, but having wrung one of these babies necks several I'm a beliver! This is better than the old model. So much so I've ordered a GT in nighthawk black with 19" wheels. Cant wait. Hurry up and deliver my car Swindon!! :) this car is sick.

ST is really bad on fuel...struggles to get more than 25mpg...Seat isn't really in the same kinda hot of hot league and the MPS is apparently a bit soft. The VXR is up there tho for sure.

if i had the money i'd order one two. it just looks stunning (especially with the 19" wheels) inside and out. have fun with your new car!

Have you driven the new civic type r? i have driven both the last type r and have driven the new one. I have to say that although it is more refined. It actually have 800 more revs and has power throughout the torque range. I am a bit biase because I have just ordered the GT.
