Marc...the binaltech die cast versions apparently are really nice, but you pay for the die cast...all i have are alternators and i really dig all the ones i have...I have Tracks and can say that he's pretty great, I don't have Prime or Mirage, but they're both nice from what i've seen..i'd also really recommend Hound...i got the reprolabel stickers for him and he looks most like his G1 counterpart, can't recommend him enough...hope this helps, Ryan

Hey Ry , So I'm on the verge of buying my first Binacle/Alternator Transformer. Are the japanese Binacles really that much better due to their die cast parts ? I like Mirage(Ford GT), Prime(SRT-10) and Tracks(Z06). Thought you could help a brother out due to your extensive knowledge of such things ( maybe I should ask your dad ....haha.)
