Thanks for the positive input! I figured reinforced fiberglass would be good for a little while-then use something better when I could afford it. With me, it's ALL about top-notch safety and performance. Which is why I rebuild all my cars, frame up, even if it doesn't need it, and use ONLY the latest race-proven items. That's why I say, My services aren't cheap..but they're worth it!

fiberglass is a good idea,i wouldn't personally use ls9 tech till is fully developed , but is also a very good idea.you get more Nm at lower rpms, and doesn't tired the engine as regular gas does. Brasil is using this kind of techology, with alcohol-fuel directed inj. and every fuel station there has it. very good idea...

Argentina? Sweet. My mom had a '68 Camaro RS with a 400 Small Block and Muncie 4. Still out runs most cars. Me laugh at somebody for that!? NEVER! My family would have beat me for that. And laughing at some one is rude, I hate rudeness. Besides, even here in the states, these cars have become exceedingly rare. I'm actually thinking about making fiberglass replicas, and updating them with the new LS9 and selling them.

im from Argentina, and , we don't have many muscle cars in the streets, but, back at university, we reconstructed a 68 v8 camaro`s engine , was exiting activity, and fun also. that´s when my love for this legends started. i know, you maybe laughing at me becouse reconstructing M cars engines is something that you always do in your countries, it maybe a regular activity in developed countries like USA or yours, but here, in Argentina, reconstructing a v8 is like the ultimate experience.

nicee.... btw American Muscle is the only way to go.

I know. It was like that over in New Zealand. I love muscle cars....but to be entirely honest, I hate America. I never really lived in the US more than a few months at a time-up until now. So, what country are you from?

by the way , in my country, we don't have college, what you call college is high school for us. we finish and we go straight to phd´s studies or post graduated studies as you call them( i think) . at 21, my degree was what you call phd, so i had a phd in mechanical engineering.i say this becouse i learn that for you usa folks is not the same a bachelor degree(college) than a university degree(phd).

you are right, it doesn't make you better, but it gives you knowledge,as for example, if we were talking about the lhc , if we are going to find out the higgs, your opinions , being an quantum-theoretical physicist, will be far more correct than mine, because you had a training that i didn't.i could like quantum phisics, and read about it, but is not the same, you know what i mean.

I'd stay with the 426. That's a type of engine that used to be used on top fuel dragsters. Anything can fit. You just have to have the patients, know-how, or the money to put it in or have it put in.

College doesn't make somebody better than others. Exmple I had a well known car manufacturer offer to pay for an airline ticket, pay for university, and a job at 18. Here's why, I graduated before I was 16. BUT, I turned it down-I wanted to be a Quantum Physicist.

What you can do in a tuner, you can do in a muscle car. Now, Neither tuners OR Muscle could measure up to the Bugatti Veyron or the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. BUT in the long run, it's all about the driver..not the car.

Umm...Skylines aren't really all that powerful. I used to own one when I lived over in New Zealand. Yeah, you can build it up...but that's if you're able to sink about 100k into it.

They do have suspension mods. My '50 Chevy coupe, before I bought it, used to race on track and strip. Won every race for about the past 20 years, before it was retired(When I bought it) Not putting down tuners, I own one, but a well built muscle car with upgraded suspension from RideTech can handle about as well as any sports car. Each has their pros & Cons. Especially in gas.

oh and for all u peopel saying muscle cars beat tuners any day have probably on seen the drag races. yeah. take it to the circuit and see who wins

this car beats every Japanese toy in what? all i saw this guy do was rev up the engine a little. OoohhhOOOhhoo so powerful!!!

yea, accept ford sucks.

damn all ppl talk about is the skyline? okay i have an 83 camaro with well over 700 hp try to keep up with a little piece of shit ricer. and all the ppl that praise about ricers don't even kno shit about cars so go watch some gay anime or something

u bunch of muppet`s, i`ve been a dodge charger all my life & it wont beat a top 1000 bhp skyline. the only thing it would beat it on is the fucking noise. lol. keep tryin. xxxx

fuck rice burners

its about how a car is set up period! US cars are usually lesser quality built, but then there are exceptions.

you know guys, this muscle vs. tuner thing is really getting old... if a car's got 300 hp it ain't a piece of crap, no matter where it comes from. i wonder how many of you have actually driven either a muscle or a tuner...

what it "beats" every Japan Toy ???!!!! YOU MUST BE SO RETARDED MAN !!! Yeah This Charger is really fast 950 BHP !! But Still doesn't beat any Japanese Car, Have you ever heard about The Skylines for Ex ... ? & Did You Know that the Japanese Cars Are The Most cars in the world that have acceleration, top speed & handling ? and I think those 3 are very imp in a race :) so next time think what you write ;) xD

haha damn thats a good one.sorry haters,hes right :)

muscle cars beat tuners anyday

ok.
