Correction, that's the Quad Cab version, I think the reg. cab is around 5,139. Which would be 10.27 lbs. per. Sorry peoples.

There's a difference of 1,680 lbs. Alot, but not double. Lightning = 12.2 lbs. per hp. Ram = 12.7 lbs. per hp. Just fyi. Every test I've ever read though says the Ram is faster. Just my input. Seems to me that most Lightning owners modify their trucks so I don't know if we'll ever see a "stock-for-stock" race. Oh well. Two sweet rides either way.

i have a 2003 SVT Lightning Stock Every Thing and i raced a SRT-10 Truck and i beat him about 4 cars and he had spray he ran all out and he couldnt keep up Dodge ant shit FORD Fastest On Race Day

i raced a lighning at the flashlight drags (1/8 mile track) at the airstrip and i only won by about 10 feet or so... all i have was a borla exhaust but he swapped his supercharger with a novi and i still beat him...i would have devestated him in the 1/2...
