I dont think the SRT10 is a hemi because original dodge hemi never came in a 10 cylinder engine.

I'm going to settle this once and for all. The original 426 Hemi could make UP TO 650 horsepower, but for insurance purposes they were all tuned down to 500 or so, and ADVERTISED them at 425. The 6.1L HEMI is the most powerful CURRENT motor Chrysler makes. This does NOT include Mopar crate motors. For example the 472, 540 HEMI's.

I'm A Chrysler/Dodge tech. Thats the best motor out of dodge in the last five years. I've already seen the new 6.1 hemi break 200k miles and still pushing 400 horses on a dyno. We've tested it. We've gotten so much shit for an incredible motor

Actually your original 66 426 hemi made 800 horses and about 780 ft lbs of torque. the motor was advertised at 425

that is not ture the 1966 426 hemi stock made 500 hp but they detuned it for street legal stuff when people bought a few ajustments made it make 500hp so the real 426 hemi was still more powerful look it up
