Starsailor - Four to the floor (remix)
Actually, the 260 in Australia was available from 74-late 77 and some 78. The US only got the 280Z.
Can you tell me what the name of this song is and who sings it? cool!
Ok just so you guys know... the 260Z was only ONE year, and it came in 2 seater or 2+2, and that was '74.... '75 became the 280z and then in '79 became the ZX... the 240z didn't come in 2+2... just a lil info :) and by the way sweet meet. I think we have one in WA but i haven't been apart of it with my Z yet :(
i want one
dude.. im not far from dandys, i live in mitcham. i really want one of these cars, but i would only get one if i could put a toyota engine in it. (dont hate me purists :P)
was the 1j hard to get in? do you have a site with info/pics etc? pm me here in youtube dude..
You are correct - although you missed the main point that the 240 is a two seater and the 260 was mostly a 4 seater with some limited 2 seaters made....
Man awesome vid...
I have been driving Z's since i was 17 and am onto my third one... Once you get hooked on these cars you cant give em up... They are the bomb!
I miss my Z :-(
the info abstract got off wikipedia is incorect, my 1977 datsun 260z 2+2 develops 165hp(123.3kW) at 5.6 k at the fly, stock standard, its written on the compliance plates. and there aint nothing wrong with the old L series engines, ive seen them worked to 200rwhp!!!
man, i got a 1975 260 z 2+2. im 30 days away from my p's and its gonna be on the road soon. ive dropped a 1jz gte into it. so if anyone sees a red 260z cruising around in dandenong. know that its me
what is the name of this song i have a 260z early version with dual tips and performance cam and it is around 150hp right now im thinking about a 3.1-2 stroker or an LS1 what would you chose? ...i know how some people feel about swaping out a Z's engine for another make but when u have a vette engine offered its a hard choice.
Thanks! :-)
A 240Z has a 2.4 litre straight six delivering 151 hp (113 kW) at 5600 rpm according to wikipedia.com. While the the 260Z has a 2.6 litre straight six delivering approximately 140 hp due to emissions regulations in the US. Many say that the 240Z offers a pure driving experience than the later 240Z, but I think the 240Z are more expensive due to their rarity (in comparison with the 260Z which came in two body forms). Just search it on Google and you should get your desired info.
anyone know the difference between a 240z and a 260z? I want to get one but I don't know which one is better.
Clean looking cars.
that yellow z is reminding me of something.
