damn i like the factory smokescreen he used when he went for his 0-60 run lol

i want one!

I love my Datsun

---i am selling a 1971 240z and a 1974 260z...NO RUST!! READY TO DRIVE OR RESTORE!! E-MAIL ME INFO....pic link attched to my channel!

You are both idiots. Al9586: She might be rusty, but my Z will still be most new cars today :)

So... My 34 year old never been restored car is a rust bucket? Good to know. Anything made out of metal in that era rusted. Copycats? Or did they just improve on everything? My car is still on the road being driven. How many of the XKE's that inspired it are still being driven? Much less, owned by people in the lower classes? No.. It's not all that original in design. But, they got something right. They got a car that was built well, and loved by many. Be a hater if you want. It's cool.

You're an asshole.

youre an idiot

Too bad they rusted like Alka Seltzers in a hot cup of tea. Even then, the japs were copycats and bootleggers.

And also mine did come with AC, i just wanted more power and so i took it out, but honestly it's a great car and i have a LOT of fun in it! I love speeding down the freeway, you'll easily beat Acuras and Civics. But i bought mine for 1250 and honestly i've spent about 4000 restoring it to running condition so if you can find one i recommend that you buy it.

I'm a 19 year old and my first car is a 1970 240z and honestly if you put the work into it you will have a great car. It honestly took me about 6 months to get it to running condition, i swapped out the L24 and put a L28, changed the brake lines, Replaced the Su Carbs To Triple Webers, replaced the transmission, R200 differential, new springs and shocks. But honestly it's a great reliable car you just have to make time out of your day to take care of it.

all right, thanks...

damn, thats a downer... oh well

But, to answer your question, it was a very fun car, it was fast enough as a 4-speed manual tranny to smoke some tires, and fast enough for a friend of my Dad's to say, after he drove it, "Wow. You better make sure your steering arms are all in good shape. If this blows a turn, your in trouble." Aftermarket parts from several specialty manufacturers are easy enough to find, almost as easy as a Mustang. Main thing, the car fit me like a glove like none since. Get a 90-92 Integra. Excellent auto.

First thing, remember the age of the ANY 240Z will be 35+ years. Some parts may have been replaced, but most of the car will be fairly old, which makes for more of restoration project, rather than a great first car. Not to talk you out of your "plan", but if I had it to do over again, I would get the Cutlass Supreme instead (back in 1980). Now, it's 28 years past my initial 240Z purchase, and I would consider it as a possible restoration project, but not a daily driver, even tho it was fun No AC

i'm lookin at a 240z as my first car, did you have fun in it? was it reasonably fast?

72- runz.....74 260, hasn't ran..typo-big one i know but nontheless..

wow 0-60 in 7.9 sec that is not to bad to day, I mean you can proably keep up in high way traffic and still drive it about town and beat most normal traffic. Not saying that it still super fast but it I will dow well among most daily traffic to day.

i am selling two (2) 240z's, both complete 1 is a 71 (runs good, needs work) the other a 72 (hasnt ran in years) with rare oem bodykit..must sell! have 5 cars already! e-mail me!

love them and own a 76 280, she looks good sitten next 2 my nova n trans am

paul, your moms a rip off of Deez Nutz.. dumbass..

can i add as much as it was a good car. It is a rip off e type?

I had a '71 240Z as my first car, over the Cutlass Supreme my step-dad suggested. Loved it. Then had an '83 280ZX w/t-tops. Awesome cars for the single guy/gal. Highest selling sports car of all time. No wonder. The Japanese STILL know what they're doing!

i love these cars!!!! :-D

watch pls watch?v=UNTuiUEw8Sk
