boosting a civic is like polishing a turd.

ive yet to be beatin by just a boosted civic... and im only running the LT1 with 58mm throttle body and a cold air intake.... i spent 8k on the car, a turbo for a civic costs half that.. hmmmm shit in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up faster. shut your fucking mouth. ive only invested 1200 worth of performance parts and i dont get beat my many things. I can testify the Trans Am is a car not to be taken lightly. go drive one and see for yourself.

i hate when people put up videos of the slow civics and make them look bad if u finally see the fast hondas u will think twice about them dont doubt honda or acura i beat plenty of V6s and V8s all the time its nothing

all im saying is money and the economy aside, from a pure car vs car standpoint the t a is a better car. i respect a fast car import or domestic all im saying is some people just want a better car regardless of money. i would rather invest 25k into my t a and have a sick looking 10 second car, than invest 5 grand into my grandmothers civic and have a gutted out flat black 12 second car, but thats just me

not everyone is going for the best bang for the buck. yes you would spend money but can u imagine the results if the t a was turbod. granted it would cost maybe 10 grand more, but believe it or not some people have that kinda money. how about this a stock t a vs a stock civic, you know a fair fight, what would be the outcome cesarzx? if you only have 4 grand to build a car i understand your dilema and maybe if you try really hard you can beat a stock t a but some people arent poor as fuck

it is very simple. the trans am is a faster car than the civic. whatever you do to a civic if done to a trans am will be better. its just that simple. the only way for a civic to beat a trans am is to have more work done to it than the trans am. im sry you dont have money to build up a v8 but if you did, you would have a faster car than a built i4. its nothing personal no import domestic rivalry, just the simple fact a built 5.7l will beat an equally built engine of lesser dispplacement.

i have the keyes to my origonal 1998 trans am that i drove for 3 years. i never thought it was gods gift to earth, or that v8s were the second comming of christ. you dont need a v8 to win and i know there are fast as civics out there. all im saying is that in stock form the trans am is better which is obvious, so why would you not want to start with a better platform, rather than a fwd economy car platform. a t a of equal modification to a civic, a fair fight, would be an ass rapinp

man it doesn't really matter at all times power to weight. my friend had a gutted out civic with an h22 in it (i could literally just pick it up and move it) and another friend has an ls1 TA and the TA would walk all over the damn civic.
