we r in 2008 @@ y would u buy an 2007 model ? any way as an owner ,i will tell many positive things. some guys around don't like the US-cars - i dont know y!?- anyway,it has the same chassis of merc E-Klasse,and some AMG stuff,so the handling is good,, the grip is fantastic with the ESP system it has becuz it is from benz ,, in terms of braking it has better time than the BMW M5 <== this say it all i recommend the 2008 model becuz this model has better interior quality & awesome new KEY system

ok everybody with the srt8 chrysler please respond. im on the verge of buying a 2007 srt8 and need to know if its worth the 46 im about to put down. I wanna know if it was worth the power and sound and interior and everything. i test drove it today and when i pressed down a little it pushed me into the fucking seat which i love. alot stronger than my clk55amg and more power but i need to know if its worth the buy PLEASE HELP i need to know by FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Agreed. I just purchased one of these SRT-8 300's myself on Tuesday (January 22nd, '08) for about 50k even. I came from a Cadillac Eldorado, and I must say, In terms of quality and performance, this is quite a Ride. The Suede and Leather, The Sirius radio, AND the 6.1L V-8 Hemi makes it one awesome car. I love it, I went black on black. Got the Racing kit too, Brembo brakes, Magnaflow exhaust, and top shelf warranty. LOVE IT!!

i completely agree with you i own a the srt-8 6.1 and its fantastic.. with terms of value for money its the best, the kick from the 6.1 litre and ride is awesome and there is no car with a kick like that for anywhere around the same price tag

except it's not really a performance car. for around 35k a performance car would be something like an evo, sti, 350Z, rx8.....etc

300s are definitely pieces of shit. they're built on old mercedes e class bits which means obsolete.

I drive a 3.0 CRD 300C and its even better value for money BMW M3 is 1) a smaller/different class and 2) a lot more expensive for what you get If you want to compare the Chrysler 300C with a BMW, try the Series 5 or Series 7 since that's how big the 300C is anyway

terrible comment. Every car mag out there rates the 300 very high, and Car & Driver has placed it in the the top ten for three years running. The SRT8 will top 170 mph and do 0-60 in under 5 sec. There are faster and more refined cars available, but name another sedan that can do that for less than twice the price of an SRT8 (CTS-V excluded).
