I work at dodge, the 08 is a 5 speed auto w/ auto stick. and the 09 is coming out with a 6 spd standard as well as a 5.7 HEMI not only the 6.7L HEMI. It is only available in Black, Orange, Or Silver.

the manual option is coming in 2009 only the 2008 challenger is auto only so in a way your both right.
