Acctualy the WS6 Trans AM was faster than the SS Camaro!! I have owned both and the WS6 is faster especially with gears as the only Mod!! But its not by much!!

I haven't read all the comments, but isn't this a case of comparing apples to oranges? There is clearly a difference in these cars as far as mods go.

many years the TA was faster than the camaro, some years it wasnt. but the 98-02 it was the driver that determined the win if you raced them stock

1066 hp huh? Lets see some dyno numbers or a video. BTW hp alone does not win drag races, weight, traction and gearing are as if not more important. Also it isn't "all about that bowtie" since I have seen plenty of Fords, Buicks, Olds and Mopars kick some Chevy butt at the drags. In fact I see more fox body mustangs winning than any other brand, mainly because they are light and can be VERY quick with cheap mods.

OK, first off the cam in that Camaro is obviously extreme, meaning that 380 horse... not so much man. Also the exhaust lacks a bellowing sound at all, meaning its probably open headers. Again, 380 horsepower after a cam and dumped exhaust... not likely. I'd say he's at least 400/400. And 100 pounds of boost of the wheels? What the fuck are you talking about?? Kids these days.

poocalvin, youtube is full of videos of imports beating camros because it's mostly kids who drive tuners and it's mostly kids who post on youtube. It doesn't represent reality or the norm. The american V8 is still the baddest plant on earth, 8000hp top fuel proves that. no turbo tuners running 4s that i know of.
