50k+ for a motor that doesnt look as good as a type R, isnt as fun, and can barely beat it stock when the type R doesnt even have a turbo.. money means shit,,, NSX cost more than both of these cars put together if you wanna go by money... the fact is civic is cheap cause they intend to sell a car to every household.. no other reason....

the honda did its best at 260km/h but we all the know that M3 has a speedometer of 300km/h and RS4 is 310km/h so that means if it wasnt on the highway they were going to dissapear easily

Well the engines really relible but if you have 2.5 RS and you put a STI engine in it would have to upgrade everything else. Ive seen K20s on here with up to 300bhp N/A. Those engines have good midrange and top out stock close to 155mph.

yeah the K20s are pretty badass. but then again, you gotta worry bout it being reliable. my friend dropped a K20 on his hatch and busted an axle. it sux that you have to basically upgrade everything for it to handle all that power. might as well go for something that can definitely handle enough ponies to satisfy you hunger

B16s do have shit torque 111 ft-lbs but the K20 is alot better it has alot more torque and its lower down.

its true that you don't need that power at low revs.. but there are times when you do need that torque. I had a b16 on my del sol and even with that, it was a bitch to merge into a highway. honda needs to work on their torque. im not gonna lie, hondas have great potential and i've seen em. but once you are up there, you gotta worry bout b**chs stealin your car!!! and honda tuners get such a bad rep cuz of this

oooookay. its still pretty gay how you have to rev pretty high to get some halfway decent power. these cars are made for ppl seeking to spend less on gas. im not gonna lie, i used to drive a honda and after upgrading to an sti, i will never look at hondas the same way ever again

these drivers all know how to hav a bit of fun, the rs4 and the m3 could easily have walked away from the type-r but where's the fun in that? m3 and rs4 are in a different league but the civic kept up well! :)

Considering all the spec's on paper, the Honda flogged them both! Kept up with only half the emisions too!
