chevy = 346CI, 10:1 CR, etc, etc. Ford = 302 CI, ~ 9:1 CR, shitty E7 heads, shitty cam, 17" intakes runners, etc. TFS top end kit goes from 225hp to 360hp, and thats not even touching the CR. Sorry, Ford motors do in fact make more hp chevy guys...

You have too mod the hell out of a ford to beat a chevy. Stock 87 stang vs stock 98 Z-28, Camaro wins anyday. The LS1 was not as strong as the LT1 before it, the ford will still lose. The stock Ford GT heads can't breath for S@#$ at top end RPM. The 302 was a torque Monster not a horse power monster. Any old LT1 camaro will beat most stangs from the 80's and 90's unless modded.
