hes not saying a cobra is limited to 400whp but that a bad tune on even the stoutest of engines will kill said engine instantly. last weekend i flamed a head and piston while bending a rod due to an injector failure. it was an all forged rotating assembly and last time dynoed it made 548rwhp. detonation and boost DO NOT MIX!

to get a 100% stock 03-04 cobra twin turbo would you have to like have to do other mods to put the TT's in there

Had a 2000 trans am stroked 383 600 lift cam ported heads ls6 intake long tube headers 4:10's rear end and a 100hp shot of NOS do 10.9's at the track

851hp and 11.30's at the track is not very impressive really.......

How much do you read?With LOTS of detonation and any motor built or not built will blow the fuck up..do your homework.I dont care if its making the average 362whp stock for a Cobra(all stock cars are different)..it can detonate and destroy the motor..My stock inline 6(Rb26dett)will make 1000whp with a stock bottom end/top end.(a good tune)I wasn't saying its hard to make that power..I was saying that alot has to do with the tune.Sling rods,spin bearings etc.Built motor=insurance.Badtune=BOOM

400? lol how much crack u smoke? There are STOCK motor 04 cobra's with turbos cranking out 1100 RWHP on race gas. search on dragtimes. om

actually you can make 600 rwhp quite easily on an 03-04 cobra , and a lot of them are. a good tuner gets rid of the pinging :p

I agree with the bottom end..but at the same time but ALOT is in the tune/tuner also..you can make only 400whp on a built cobra and get alot of detonation and blow the motor..
