Top Gear Is way better

its a shame tiff isnt still doing top gear, hes a funny guy, AND hes a good driver, he used to be in racing. clarkson may and hamster and just journalists who know a fair bit about cars.

Tiff "made" top gear. Clarkson is an arrogant tool with ZERO driving skills. I'd much rather watch a good driver than an incompetent driver.

They have to "tune" them buy switching the steering wheel to the other side. Also this vid is dumb because the C6 coevette hass a 7 litre 500hp engine, and the standard corvette has the 400 hp 6 litre engine so there using the wrong vet in this clip. Lastly the new vette owns any british sports car and most other european cars.

The British motor industry was absolute trash for years before being carved up by the Germans and Americans. Only afterwards did major improvements occur (we'll have to wait a little longer to see how the Malaysians and Indians fare at improving British products) Some British cars were very pretty...but that was about it. Second, Fifth Gear voted the Corvette Z06 best fast car of the year for 2006. Tiff absolutely fell in love with it.

you speak as if american car manufactuers couldnt build a car that could be the fastest in the world... or the most luxurious... or technologicaly advanced. there is just no calling for it here. the majority of the population does not get paid worth a flip. we have ultra ignorant, crooked powers running our country that tax and take what they want leaving the country under funded and in shambles as well as the populations education being undermined to prevent people from wising up to there plan

Why SRT-10 vs. C6? They should have done SRT-10 vs. Z06. The C6 and SRT-10 are in totaly differnt classes and the Z06 and SRT-10 are in the same class.

I think Viper vs. Corvette is kinda like STI vs. Evo. It's more on what you like than which is better. On the motor question, the S7 and the GT have very good motors.

ok people i have to chime in on this both car are great cars but viper is much better on the straightaways but the corvette is much better in cornering so it depends on what type of experience you are looking for i have always been a dodge guy i have three 1070 hemi cuda ram srt10 and ram hemi but i also like the corvette very much as for brits why are they testing american muscle anyway

Fair enough, I didn't know that, from most of the Topgear clips I got the impression it was a VW project to prove they could build the fastest road car ever. Didn't realise all they did was finance it.

yes they do but all developement and and manufacture of the Veyron is done by hand on French soil by the french,VW just sponsered the project,Bugatti is still 100% French.

At par with the French? No way! The French gave us the Alpine A610,The Venturi 400LM,The Peugeot 205 GTi (widely regarded as the best hot hatch of all time) and the Mighty Bugatti Veyron.There is no way you can compare america to france they are light years behind in automotive technology.

How come the Yanks cannot manage to build a decent motor? Everything they do is inferior to Euro's and Japs. I'd say they were probably on a par with the French. Which isn't good.
