I'm thinking since golf carts are legal for road use(license plates) in many areas, to hot rod golf cart and get away from anything

FYI: Train engines are 6,000hp electric drives, not Diesel....Diesel runs the alternator that powers electric motors...been that way for 40 years. Electric has been the future for a long time now
