true. But unless you force induct the Z4M, it wont touch the chipped 335i.

hardtop convertibles aint that fast kid. They are way heavier than the rest. A regular 335i would pull at least 2 cars on you. Perhaps you should stop running grandmas in their minivans between stop lights.

guys.. no matter what is said.. no matter how you drive. a 335 (stock) will get owned by a z4m (stock). with work offcourse a 335 will work its way past the z4m... but as this video states.. they are STOCK. no reason to start with this "yeah but if the 335 had this and that"... cos the same could be said about the z4m "if it had straight pipes" etc. both great cars... z4m slightly quicker. end of story

get a V3 or SSTT on the 335 and re-run him again!

What do you mean "Fuel" my 335i boosts 15 PSI and I have tires on it and it does not 12.1@113 it runs 12.3 @ 115mph so you might not be reading your slip correctly. But each strip and alt, conditions vary. my M has pullies, H&R,s tires, and weight reduction of about 100+ Lbs, plus I ran on 1/8 tank and I weigh 122 Lbs, I can also lauch the car ar 5,500 RPM is barely any wheel spin which gets me a 60' (depending on weather) of 1.7 to 1.8

I ran a 12.13 @ 113+ in my 335i with just tune, fuel, and tires, everything else stock. How in the world does your Mcoupe run 113mph in the qtr mile! I usually beat those by over a second. They are rated at around 107mph, so yours must make about 60hp more than stock?

I agree! Not evenly matched at all! Both drivers drive like bitches and dont know how to race!

auto is for pussies!

My 335i walks my Z4M now, i have the Helix Attache on the 335

not evenly matched at all.. throw in a JBX and run him again..

I JUST BOUGHT A 335i HARD TOP CONV, AND LOVE IT... NOTHING YET HAS KEPT UP WITH ME IN SHORT RUNS BETWEEN STOP LIGHTS... I LOVE THE CAR...

Yes, but the manual in our Z4Ms can be a pain with grinding and CDV issues. I have a Z4M Coupe, and I love it, but the gearbox can drive you mad at times.

PS: of course there is a higher chance of driver error in manual. The driver has to shift fast and properly to pull those times. AUTO is more consistent. Real sports car enthusiasts drive manual cars.

I just did my homework. 5.3 [5.5] sec 0-60mph [] = AUTO Source: BMWUSA

umm, yes it is. The gearing and final drive are both more agressive for the auto e90/e92 and in a straight line the auto has a slight advantage on the manual. Do your home work. I own both Z4M and 335i

Auto is not quicker than the manual. Why would you get rid of the V2?

Auto is a bit quicker than manual. And i just got rid of V2 actually.

He pulled hard but not hard enough to say that a V2 PROcede and a manual wouldn't move right next to it at least.

lol. Find some people who can drive. I have a tune on my 335i now (It auto) Bit faster than a manual due to gearing. And at 15psi right now the M is dead even with my 335i

hm... i have xede tune, and 285's in the back on my 335i coupe, i ran with a few z4m's, and off the roll its nose to nose, off the dig i jump half a car every time.... i dunnno

I own both Z4M and 335i, and I can tell you even with Procede 1.47 the 335i still can not pull. It can hand about 1 1-1/2 car back but it cant pull. I am waiting for my V2 to come in but I am currently running the Helix Attache and the Helix Tune murders the Z4M. My best trap with the M was 113MPH @ 12.6 seconds.

I was considering upgrading to either car (330 currently) but once i got into all the vishnu tuning stuff the 335i with procede and cat-back no question smokes Ms, which is basically what im looking for. Both sick cars though.

tell us all why he would have beat him due to a manual box and oil cooler !!!!

betcha u woulda had him if u had a manual tranny and a oil cooler

First, stop being so stupid and speak normal please. Second, I don't see your comment, and Third, the two "small" turbos do the difference. Regards and be well.
