the m5 drivers starts like at 5th gear

Camera car is an M5 with an extra passenger, 335i only has 3 people on board. There are other video's where you can clearly hear the M5's V10 and see it using launch control. BTW, the 335i is LE MANS BLUE. The M5 is at a disadvantage up here in Johannesburg where it loses 17% power and the 335i 1-2%.

And I honestly cant tell about the car the camera man is driving in. Doesnt show enough of the interior. But because a 335i sedan is beating it, even towards the end of the run, where the M5 should kick ass, I guessed that it was a 335 or a regular 5 series.

Alright, we will go into the details. First off, There are only dual exhaust pipes. M5 has 4. Second, the tail lights are the distinct 3-series with white on the inside corners only. M5 has the white lense stretching across each taillight. There are no vents on the side. And the M5 does not come in Montego Blue Metallic. And finally, there are clearly more than two letters on the model badge! Its a fricken Montego Blue Metallic 335i sedan w/ the $1700 sport package.

Didn't know 335s sound like V10s dude

yea he cant drive

Thats not a damn M5! You are both racing 335s!

Preggie at FRC IIRC. Modified version of the Procede piggyback

who worked on the ecu?

It's not my 335. It does 12.7 @ 183 up here in Johannesburg

what did the 335 run stock on the dyno?what 400m time are you getting?looks very strong

There are many vids of rolling runs in certain gears showing each car's strengths and weaknesses. Obviously the M5 is at a disadvantage at lower revs. MX900 = FAIL

u dont know how 2 drive a m5

Procede only works on US spec ECU's. Local tuners have unlocked the 335i's ECU a week ago. Test car is making 250kW ATW on pump fuel.

So it was a stock 335? because I think a 335 procede would have probably been a different story.

No, it wasn't the proper gear for the M5, way out of powerband. It was to illustrate the advantages of forced induction on a roll. We did a 2nd gear roll and a standing start too.

I think, it wasn´t the proper gear for the M5. The same question from me as well. Was that a chiped 335i???

Its a 335i with a procede?

LOL, plonker!

Really? That M5 ran a 12.8 @ 182km/h last night. Idiot.

slowest M5 in the world, regardless of elevation
