A lot of people have topped them out and felt the car hit the limiter so it's definitely way faster than 168mph, the diablo predator removes the limiter to 190mph

The top speed of an str8 is 168mph you saying its limited and can go faster?

mate i can bet ya my srt8 can flip a continental in a race. the work ive done to it it will shit on it easy 1-100kms in 3.5

That's pretty simple: Push down the right pedal very quickly down to the floor ;-) I think it depends only on the surface of the streets. Last year we were in vacation in Croatia. No chance to get there the power of the car to the street. Slippery already when the streets are dry. Like ice when they are wet. Spinning wheels all the time. On german highways the surface delivers by far much more grip.

The srt8 can go all the way to 300+ when removing the speed limiter & can hook from 0-200 in less than 15 seconds

ya i know, but i talk about the continental "T" (old one) not the "GT"... but you're true, it's a bit more expensive (the lower cost 75000 euros), and it's a completlty other style ;)

Not the same price, not the same league and by far not the same target customer. More than 4 SRT8's for one Continenatal GT. Wow. A hell of a lot of money for 132kW extra and - no doubt about that - high end quality, specially in the interior.

Yeah, they used to do that in the 70's, too..... They would post lower BHP ratings in adds than the actual power, so insurance wouldn't be as much.

The hemis are torque monsters, but they also like to rev. I own 2 of the 5.7l hemis and they have been perfectly reliable vehicles. A 05 RT Magnum with almost 120,000 miles and a 05 QC 4X4 Ram with 80,000. Chrysler quality has come a long way. I race both vehicles btw 13.4 with the Magnum and 14.5 with the truck.

actually you're wrong. The car does 0-100 km/h in a proven 4.9 seconds and 0-60 mp/h in a proven 4.7 seconds. Also the car weighs 1850 kg not 1900. 50 kg is abig difference. Chrysler officially advertised 0-100 km/h (0-62.5 mp/h) in 5.2-5.3 seconds for insurance reasons. But i guarantee that is does 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. I'ce riden in one many times and a friend owns one too :D

That's normal. The aerodynamic resistance increases squared to the speed increase. That's the reason why also a very aerodynamic car needs more than 1000 hp to reach 400 km/h. And the 300C ist definetely NOT a very aerodynamic car.

Man, once these things hit 200 they take forever to hit top speed. Must be the bluff front end or the engine runs out of puff, or both.
