restored l28? cause sounds beautiful maan

wow so old but it still sounds and looks absolutely beautiful

beautiful!

just a Z with fibreglass replica over fenders screwed to the body. I cut out the old arch and welded it back together.

was tht originally a 240z or 240ZG? if it 240z how u get the over-fenders riveted to the body like the zg?

Nice car man, the fairlady 240Z is a timeless machine. I definitely envy you man, for such a thing =)

wheels are to HUGE...looks like a hot wheels

however i would change the color of the flared guards to match the silver.

thats the besttt looking 240z ive seen. You modified it exactly how i would picture mine to be. The nice older looking rims with wide tread. And excellent color choice. good man

damn that sound nice stock motor?

Good job it's not your car then! Standard they look ok but 99 percent of people will disagree with you.

240z the only japenese car i like doesnt need a body kit never will ...

yeah all I've seen were pictures but they were up close enough to see the big rota center cap. most looked like they were GT3's but I think one picture was an RB but I couldn't really tell cuz all the spokes were either bent or broken.

i found some info, mostly dealing with cold weather. But yes, i see where bad casting is breaking the center clean out of the wheel. Seems to be really prevolent with their thin spoke "racing" wheels (LOL). especially the five spoke that seems to be popular. Couldn't find anything on the rota rb series though. May just be because there are not nearly as many of them out there, definatly does not mean they are safe in cold weather though.

heard the same thing about panasport. The only problem with watanabes is that they don't make deep offset 17s. I would go with 16s, but tire sizes are more limited and i really don't want to get into stretching tires. Also, your the first person i've heard talking about rota wheels breaking, but that may be from not digging deep enough. Do you have any info on intances of rotas breaking. The only real time i've ever seen a wheel truely break was a guy hitting a curb is a rx-8 with stock rims.

do NOT get rotas. ever. they WILL break if you do anything above street driving. Watanabe makes the same wheel and although it costs alot more, they are some of the best quality wheels out there.

Yeah, i didn't just ask that. Read over the 80+ comments again and saw where that question has already been answered. Sorry bout that.

whats the width on those 17's? What size tires are you running as well? I thing the look is fantastic. I've been considering 17x9 rota RB's with 235-40-ZR17 rubber wrapped around them. Thats a total diameter of about 24.4 inches and a section width between 9.5 and 9.8 inches. Sorry bout the standard measurements, hope they are not a problem (the metric is in the tire size if you know how to calculate it).

I'm 6'2" and bigger than that, I've owned several Zcars. You sit LOW as hell, no worries on the height or weight.

---i am selling a 1971 240z and a 1974 260z...NO RUST!! READY TO DRIVE OR RESTORE!! E-MAIL ME INFO....pic link attched to my channel!

yeah you could fit no problem

Can anyone reply to me on this question? Could this car fit me comfortably? Me being an Asian guy, 5'11", 205 lbs. I could barely fit in my boy's '86 Corolla, I head rubbed against the headliner.

Fuck your video game shit, ahaha. Got your license yet little boy?
