99-04 does not take premium gas, regular is recommended by ford, sane as the 05+ i got 27 highway and 21 city/highway mix with mine before i changed theengine. now i get 12 city/highway and 20 highway

I was really looking into getting a 99-04 mustang gt until i found out that they take premium gas..any one have a GT if so how bad does gas get?
