I had to cut alot out of my original post so it doesnt sound right... I own a Mustang I paid no where near 90,000 I was talking about the SRT-8... Should have been obvious... I know Jack about the SRT8 but what I ahve seen at the track and what mags said it didnt not put out numbers it should... Edit too the 90,000... 50,000 for a Jeep SRT8...

my SRT8 Jeep runs 0-60 in 4.5 sec with traction cntrl off, 4.6 with it on, just like the mags say it does, and will obliterate any mustang effortlessly among other cars including the overpriced Porshe Cayanne Turbo S, and this was before the header and exhaust upgrades hehe

the srt-8 can do 0-60 in under 5 actually

A stock SOHC Mustang 2006 GT does 0-60 in 5.1 secs and completes a 1/4 mile is 13.5 like the SRT8. A slightly modded (CAI, Exhaust, 4:10s,Dr's and a 93 oct tune) mustang will get into the mid 12's with no problem. Judging by the sound the mustang was slightly modded but take into consideration that it is "very" expensive to mod a 90,000 dollar car.

Actually bone stock, the Jeeps do mid 8's in the 1/8th mile. The 300c, Charger and Magnum are low 9's. Check out a couple vids I just posted showing the actual times from the DriveSRT Experience. We ran the Jeep, 300c, Magnum and Charger at Englishtown's 1/8th mile track.

i know i am just stating that jeep srt8 is supposed to compete with the cayenne turbo or ml 63amg. 6.1L 420 vs 4.6 306hp. mustangs gts are junk shelbt gt500 is the only mustang worth getting.

I have an 08 jeep srt8 and i have beaten the hell out of mustang gts.Including slighly modded ones to. Stock vs Stock the jeep will piss on the mustang GT. Jeep srt8 is one hell of a machine.

Im not sure what planet your on or if you have ever driven a GT but they are not as fast as you think they are..Stock neway they are one of the slowest sports cars...Dodge makes real good engines now a days im not sure where youve been..SRT8 charger or challenger would destory any mustang accept for maybe the saleen...All SRT8s have the same output only different weight ratios...

actually stock vs stock mustang looses to the jeep owned i think your the one who knows nothing but i like both cars and if the cars were the same price i would take the jeep but the stang is a better deal so its hard to say
